POOL SAFETY & NECESSITIES

EACH CLASS THE KIDS ARE TAUGHT A NEW SAFETY SKILL.
AT THE END OF THE CLASS, THEY WILL BE ASKED WHAT SAFETY SKILLS THEY LEARNED THAT DAY.
  • Learn to swim
  • Never swim alone
  • No diving in shallow water
  • No glass containers around the pool
  • Swim only in clear weather: head for cover when storm threatens
  • No running or horseplay
  • Keep electrical appliances away from the pool
  • Don’t jump in to save someone; throw something to them to assist
  • Learn your local emergency number
All swimmers participating in Beginner, Intermediate, and Stroke Conditioning classes must bring goggles and fins to each class. Quality goggles, fins and other swimming gear may be purchased at the front desk.

Also, all kids under the age of 4 MUST wear a swim diaper. You can purchase one at the front desk if needed. Just ask!
